Wisconsin High School District Information for 1954-1957

Instructions for requesting non-public data.

The marriage roster uses information from each wave of the survey and administrative data to create a complete harmonized marital history. Although there were variables through R05 that mimicked a roster, we had never tried to reconcile information across waves. For simplicity, the roster is stored in long form (one record for each marriage) rather than wide.

This roster reconciles differing reports across rounds. These changes are only made in the harmonized marriage roster.

With support from NIH (R01AG050300 “Linking 1940 U.S. Census Data to Five Modern Surveys of Health and Aging") we’ve linked WLS data to full-count 1940 US Census data for the WLS graduates and their parents.
