The Wisconsin Longitudinal Study is part of the Center for Demography of Health and Aging at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

The Wisconsin Longitudinal Study has been supported by several government agencies and private foundations, as well as UW. Since the early 1990s, the WLS has been supported mainly by the National Institute on Aging, which is part of the National Institutes of Health and also by the Vilas Estate Trust, the National Science Foundation and the Spencer Foundation.
